CHIEF (DR) RAYMOND IHYEMBE
CHAIRMAN
“Chief Raymond Ihyembe attended the City University of London, United Kingdom where he obtained a
Masters of Science in Management in 1977. He obtained his B.Sc. (Hons) Engineering from the University
of Leicester, United Kingdom in 1974.
Chief Ihyembe was the Group Managing Director of Afribank Group [Comprising of Afribank Nigeria Plc,
Afribank International Limited (Merchant Bankers). ANP International Finance Limited, Dublin, Ireland
in 1999 – 2002. Afribank Insurance, Afribank Estate and Afribank Securities Limited}
He was the Pioneer Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer of Afribank International Limited, Afribank
Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria during which period he grew the balance sheet of the bank from
zero on inception to N5.0 Billion, and ensured that the bank was consistently profitable throughout his
seven-year tenure. In 1974 to 1976, he was an Operations Petroleum Engineer, Port Harcourt and
supervised field drilling and work over operations in the Eastern Division.
Chief Raymond Ihyembe was appointed a Consultant by the World Bank to undertake a review of an
Industrial Development Project in the Yemen Arab Republic in1989. In1984, he represented Nigeria at the
IBRD’s (International Bank for Reconstruction and Development) World Consultation on Small and
Medium Scale Enterprises in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. He also represented Nigeria in 1983 at the UNIDO
sponsored Second Consultation on Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in Madrid, Spain, and was
elected Vice President for Africa at the conference.
He served as a Director and Chairman of many companies at different times among which are; Afribank
Nigeria Plc – Executive Director & Managing Director, Afribank International Limited (Merchant Bankers),
ANP International Finance Ltd. Dublin, Republic of Ireland, Consolidated Discount House Limited, Lagos,
Benue Cement Company Limited, Gboko, Benue State and so on. He currently serves on the Board of
International Chamber of Commerce Nigeria as the first Vice Chairman and the Chairman, Banking
Technique and Practice Commission
ALHAJI. SHERIFF YUSUFF
(NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR)
Alhaj. Sheriff Yusuff attended University of Nigeria, Nuskka for his first degree, where he studied
Accounting. He had his Masters Degree in Finance from University of Lagos. He attended several courses
locally and abroad on Financial Analysis, Investment Management, Credit Risk Management, Business
Development and so on.
He was an Executive Director (1991 – 2008) in Intercontinental Bank Plc, he oversaw several departments
of the Bank including Financal Control & Reporting, Corporate and Correspondence Banking, Credit Risk
Management among several others. Still sitting on Board of some companies and the Chief Executive
Officer of Modesty Capital Limited since 2008. He was at a time the National President of NASFAT. He
brings his wealth of experience in both assets, financial and human management to the board of the
company.
ABAYOMI, A. AJENIFUJA–FCA, FMP
(Executive Director).
Abayomi is the Executive Director of LaFam Facility Management Limited in charge of Finance and
Strategies. He holds a B.Sc. Degree in Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University and a Post Graduate
Certificate in Finance from University of Leicester (UK)
A Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate Member of the following
other institutes; Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria(ACTI), Chartered Institute of Securities &
Investment, UK (ACIS) as well as Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACS) He also holds Facility
Management Professional qualification of International Facility Management Association- FMP and a
member of IFMA Nigeria
He joined LaFam with his wealth of experience in asset management from VERITAS (Zenith) Registrars
Limited where he was the Head of Compliance Department. He was previously the Head of Internal
Control and Audit of the same company and with Zenith Bank Plc from 2007-2011 as Resident Auditor.
He worked with the Intercontinental Securities Limited from 2005-2007 from where he joined Zenith
Bank and was at a time an Associate (Audit/Tax) at LF & Co. (A firm of Chartered Accountants).
Yomi possesses strong, effective communication skill, with a flair for building, leading and encouraging
teams to achieve result. An individual with self-motivational skill, a proactive ‘can do’ approach and an
outstanding skill set, will make a significant contribution and asset in any new role.
RICHARD ORIYOMI ORIMOLADE– MSc Kingston University London, M_o_R, Prince2 Professional
(Executive Director).
Richard (Data Intelligent Analyst, Prince 2 Certified & M_O_R), a risk strategist and policy expert; best practice risk
advocacy, risk awareness and embedding; providing risk consulting across all areas of the entity, policy guide &
implementation development. He joined Mahogany Ombsidian Nigeria Limited in February 2015, before which
he was employed in Wema Bank Plc. as a Risk Analyst of the subsidiary WEMASEC.
He is a Business Developer and has been working as a risk analyst all over for the past 10 years, and has
completed trade related world recognized Enterprise Risk Management certification (M_o_R), and Prince 2
project management professional.
